As a firm, we make deliberate decisions to use our talents and passion for design and organizing to help those in need.  Amanda’s former career with a children’s charity and her time living in South Africa with 8 girls orphaned by the AIDS pandemic exposed her to the tragedy of their living environments.  More than anyone, these people deserve a place of dignity and respect; a place that greets them when they walk in and feels like home.  

Each year, Simplify. works with a charity to help transform their living environment.  We recently completed a project with a talented team of designers to transform the rooms for the Downtown Women’s Center, a charity that provides housing and support to homeless women in Los Angeles.
